    Martin Bradley MBE

    Chair

    Martin Bradley MBE is from Londonderry and works as Chief Salaries and Wages Officer of Westcare Business Services, a subsidiary of Foyle Health and Social Services Trust, serving the Western Health and Social Services Board area.

    He was appointed a Board member of the Arts Council of Northern Ireland in 1996 and served as Vice-Chair from 2003-07. He was a member of the Western Education and Library Board (1993-2001).

  • Karen Fleming

    Professor Karen Fleming is a textual artists who has taught at the School of Art and Design of the University of Ulster since 1988. Karen has recently been involved in a pioneering project to apply her knowledge of textiles to medical science.

  • Anne Heaslett

    Anne is currently Principal of Stranmillis University College. She has spent her career in Further and Higher Education.  Special areas of interest include rural development and traditional crafts. She joined the Board of Craft Northern Ireland in 2006.

  • Kim Mawhinney

    Kim Mawhinney joined the board in 2010. Kim is currently Head of Art at National Museums Northern Ireland.

  • Patrick Barr

    Patrick is an honours graduate in Finance from Queens University, Belfast and has worked as part of Deloitte’s Financial and Performance Management Team in Belfast for more than four years after becoming a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) in 2004.

    Joe Kelly is the Director of Craft Northern Ireland, a regional agency for the promotion and development of the design-led craft industry in Northern Ireland.

    Craft NI strengthens the practice of craft in Northern Ireland through supporting contemporary artistic, creative and business practices. It does this by raising awareness of the needs of practitioners and initiating regional development to support a vibrant and innovative craft industry.
